What this tool does

The NFL Stats Explorer lets you browse and sort season stats for every QB, RB, WR, and TE in the league. Filter by position, search for specific players, and switch between metric categories to find exactly who leads in any stat that matters.

How to use it

Select a Position — Choose QB, RB, WR, or TE from the position tabs at the top left

Pick a metric category — Toggle between different categories depending on the position selected

Search or sort — Type a player name in the search bar, or click any column header to sort the full list by that stat

Key metrics explained

EPA Expected Points Added — value generated above average per play

SUCC% Success Rate — percentage of plays that gained positive EPA

CPOE Completion % Over Expected — how a QB performs vs. model predictions

YAC Yards After the Catch

Ranking players league-wide, finding hidden efficiency leaders, or comparing stats

⚠️ Keep in mind

Stats reflect the full season — small sample players early in the year may skew high or low
